Godaddy在周一发生了一次宕机事故,使数百万用户受到影响。
周二早上,再次打开Godaddy网站时,就可以在Godaddy官网上方看到如下所示的提示:
At 10:25 am PT, GoDaddy.com and associated customer services experienced intermittent outages. Services began to be restored for the bulk of affected customers at 2:43 pm PT. At no time was any sensitive customer information, such as credit card data, passwords or names and addresses, compromised. We will provide an additional update within the next 24 hours. We want to thank our customers for their patience and support
再然后,客户邮箱中收到来自Godaddy的道歉邮件。同时这封邮件中给客户提供了一个补偿链接,客户点击这个链接可以获得由Godaddy提供的免费一个月服务。直接登录Godaddy账户,也可以看到如下图所示的提示:
然后点击”Click here to redeem”链接显示如下图:
Godaddy为用户赠送一个”in-store credit”,这个将在2年之后过期,该”in-store credit”不可以折现,可以用来购买或者续费Godaddy的产品。
我们点击”in-store credit”链接可以进入账户的Payment中的In-Store Credit。然后可以看到如下图,为每一个主机产品送了8.99美元。我账户中有三个主机,所以有了3个8.99美元,也就是26.97美元。这26.97美元我可以用来购买Godaddy的产品或者续费。
每个主机8.99美元的补偿,可见Godaddy这次的道歉也是比较的诚心的。
